I used to watch Cat in the Hat when I was younger because I love the book. Looking back at it, it's not good and the movie doesn't work in live action.
"It's turkey time. Gobble, gobble." Jennifer Lopez is a gorgeous woman, and her acting has gotten better since 2003, but not even she could make that cringy dialogue convincing.
Adam Sandler punches out Sean Astin in 50 FIRST DATES Bruce Wayne gets put in solitary to protect the other prisoners in BATMAN BEGINS ARE YOU A CAWP? ('Yes – oh damn') Sasha Baron Cohen gets his metal appendage caught in the train in HUGO (aren't wounded foreign soldiers funny, and look, I'm Peter Sellers) 'Fuck off Hitler' Mental Health Professional Vera Farmiga lets disturbed patient Leonardo DiCaprio into her house at night in THE DEPARTED (wonder if she'd have killed for writers to care so much about her character that she got to say 'It's Turkey Time'?)
"Cat in the Hat" worked as a children's book that was a few pages long, but it didn't need to be stretched into a full length feature film comprised of toilet humour and pointless cameos. Mike Meyers' promising career was never quite the same afterwards.

Kid Danger: wearing his big trucker pup outfit wearing his purple scarf on his neck the live action "Cat in the Hat" is one of my favorite live movies.
Thank God I didn't seen Turkey Time. So I lucked out. Cat in the Hat is a cult favorite despite the toilet humor. Kids don't care . They love the live action movie starring Michael Myers.
The scene in Save The Last Danes where Sarah and Derek argue cause of Chenille telling Sarah that Nicki had a point about the interracial relationship with Sarah and Derek . When clearly that wasn’t her business
The only movie I've seen in the 2000's was Rob Zombies Halloween. There is no way you could get me to a movie theater. Hollywood has lost its originality. There's more to life than 50 versions of Spiderman, Batman, all those darn superheroes. It's that and remakes. You don't fix what isn't broken.

At least Tommy Wiseau made an unforgettable award winning film, though for all of the wrong reasons. The "Disaster Artist" is just as entertaining.

The Cat in the Hat is better than Son of the Mask.
I guess Sam Raimi wanted to do something similar in Spider-Man 2 Peter Parker raindrops falling on my head.
