Award-wining South African rapper Emtee was featured on two songs that earned him social media praise. Jub Jub’s Soldier single was included.

However, his divorce from Nicole Chinsamy, the mother of his three children, is the biggest unknown. Opera News broke the story:

Emtee, a South African artist, filed for divorce from Nicole Chinsamy. Fans in the music industry were surprised by the news. In 2018, Nicole and Emtee married.

While the matter has yet to be confirmed by Emtee or Nicole. It seems that Emtee’s latest post on Twitter might be proof that he is moving on already.

Recently, Emtee had tongues wagging on social media. This comes after a Twitter user shared an image showcasing their voluptuous body with the caption, “I’m beautiful.” Emtee then commented by asserting that the Twitter user was not lying with their assertions.

As such, it did not take long for the comments section to be filled with his followers suggesting that Emtee must ask the person out. However, he would react to these sentiments by suggesting that it was not as serious as his foilowers might think it is.

However, given that Emtee during the time he was believed to be happy in his relationship did not tweet in this manner. It seems that this supports the suggestion that he has filed for divorce.

The biggest surprise in this alleged matter is that Emtee is the one to file for divorce rather than Nicole given her recent allegations directed at him. As reported at the time:

Assault charges against rapper Mthembeni Ndevu- better known as Emtee, have reportedly been dropped by his wife, Nicole Chinsamy.

The rapper handed himself over to the police on March 8, 2023, and was charged with assault. According to Nicole, Emtee allegedly assaulted her on Valentine’s Day while she was 7 months pregnant.

“Show them what you did to me, how you beat me up on Valentine’s Day here’s the proof,” said a disgruntled Nicole during a heated argument with the rapper.

According to a local publication, Emtee is a free man as he has been cleared of assault charges against Nicole.

On Tuesday, May 2, the award-winning rapper appeared in the Midrand Magistrate’s Court. Nicole withdrew the gender-based violence (GBV) allegation against him, according to a statement posted by the outlet.

Nicole says she forgives Manado in the best interests of their two children, Avery and Logan, as well as their unborn kid.
