Popular  US-based film star eulogised his dad via an Instagram post, appreciating him for being a patriarch.

In the post caption which accompanied an image of Papi Luwe, Sunkanmi displayed the close-knitted bond between them.

He described the veteran actor father as his homie (short form for homeboy) and bestie (short form for best friend).

On his birthday, the son used the opportunity to reiterate his love for his pappy.

He wrote: “My homie, my bestie. Thank you for being my father. I love you pappy. Happy birthday dad.”
