Great reaction, they’re are also sequels to the original one ,The Bad News Bears Back In Training And The Bad News Bears Go To Japan with some of the same cast ?⚾️
I always heard the comedy behind this movie came from the fact that Walter Mathau did not like working with kids. He didn't get along with the kids and they did not get along with him. So putting him in a movie with kids was the lightning in a bottle this movie needed
Walter Mathau is awesome in everything I've seen him in. I know you guys loved Grumpy Old Men, you gotta check out The Odd Couple. Same two actors, but different characters and setup. But completely fun and funny!
FUN FACT: To show she really could really do it, the film shoots that oner one take wide shot of who is clearly Tatum O'Neil walk over, stand, wind up and deliver a perfectly executed curve ball to the catcher. It's still awesome to watch. I couldn't do it my whole baseball career, I cant do it now.
This is my favorite movie and I don't even like baseball. The second one the kids were so poorly cast that it could not have any of the charm of the first one. I'm so glad you guys watched this. Great reaction.
I remember this movie as a kid. It came on tv in the 90s and had no idea about the film. I watched it as a kid on tv when it came on. I used to play baseball as a kid and I dropped out of baseball in middle school because I wasn’t good as I was younger. When this movie came on on local tv I loved this movie when watching it. Such a classic. They made a remake in 2000s. The main actress of the remake that played the pitcher passed away of a car accident
I used to play baseball and I hated the coaches that favored players that was so good and treated the good players like crap. Times have changed since the 90s
One of my favorite movies growing up, and it was pretty accurate depiction of life as a kid in the 70's. . You two need to check out Slap Shot, another 1970s sports classic with Paul Newman and a hysterically funny movie.
Ahh, one from my childhood. My brother and i loved these movies. Tanner is the best. Both the sequels are also worth a watch. Next sports movie should be Hoosiers.
Whats really interesting is that the guy who wrote the screenplay to this also wrote the screenplay for John Carpenters the thing in 1982. You guys should watch the 1978 sequel tHe is the bad news bears breaking training. another good sports movie for young people is Vision Quest from 1985. Madonnas first movie.
Foreign substance is SUPER illegal in baseball. Nowadays pitchers are finding loopholes, because rosin bags are legal, but once your sweat mixes with that rosin it becomes sticky. That helps with fastball velocity. They are starting to look into that.
oh my….u really have no idea how much fun the 70s were….especially being a kid!!! i wouldn't have traded a single minute of it!!!! glad u enjoyed this classic movie. i never even watched the remake coz i already knew it would not even come close to the original!!!
HORRIBLE! NOT THE FILM BUT YOU. This was a classic kids film when I was growing up but it's not watchable. EVERY 4 SECONDS YOU INTERRUPT IT. You guys are suffocating the film. The only thing I can think of is watchers just want to write there business. Nothing about enjoying an already edited film that you also edit yourself into it every 4 seconds. Egomaniacs lol
If you liked Tatum O’Neil in this you need to watch “Paper Moon”…

Not gonna lie. Worried about J's reaction to the raciest kid rant. I stand by J either way.
*fingers crossed*
Watch Grumpier Old Men!

Billy Bob was the perfect choice to play Buttermaker in the remake, but the fact remains that it doesn't hold a candle to the original.

My brother named one of his sons Tanner after Tanner Doyle.
I really enjoy your reactions, I was wondering, Have you guys ever watched The Crow?
The games are probably the only time the parents know where their kids are. Such was the 70s and 80s.
This movie is amazing. I love Tanner ?? I also love the line "Don't jump in the pool Engelberg you'll flood the valley"?
I wasn't there, but movies got really funny and wild during the "golden medium" times when cocaine was around but hadn't spun out of control yet.
I used to play baseball and I hated the coaches that favored players that was so good and treated the good players like crap. Times have changed since the 90s
Tanner was my favorite too! ?

Damn!
I haven't seen this movie in years. LOL
I was nine years old when this movie came out.
It was fun watching along with you both.
I was Amanda's age when this came out and I was in love with her! What a fantastic movie!!

The best sports movie!

movie Charley Varrick stars, Walter M as a bank robber.
