Maybe I'm wrong but Eli Roth's Thanksgiving is a tongue-in-cheek flick. In the 80's it started to become a running joke of what horror movie will come out next based on a holiday/ significant date. When making the fake trailer for Grindhouse, everyone that I've come across got the joke. So in the movie when there's grisly deaths resulting from a rabid Black Friday crowd, that set the tone for an overall inside joke. And wearing a Jack Cutler mask….? I think he had a lot of fun with it and wanted that for us too.
I got so excited when I received my notification!!! Woot, woot! Great list! There are some on this list that surprisingly, I haven't watched yet!! And I'm one of those "exorcism/demonic" movie fanatics, so to see one that I haven't seen on this list makes me highly, highly excited!! Popcorn ? and candy ? time!
Great recommendations as usual ,I need to finish Geralds Game at some point. I haven't seen "A tale of two sisters" cross your Shudder lists, it's a Korean horror give it a try it's very good and "Beast" is very good also
I really want to check out Thanksgiving but I really have a thing against watching off season movies ?! I won’t watch Christmas horror after new years and I wouldn’t watch The Thing in July! It’s just me. The Seventh Day has been sitting in my queue for a few years so I might watch that instead. Calibre is an excellent thriller, sort of like Deliverence in the backwoods of Scotland.
Bruh, I think Leave the World Behind is part of the Mr. Robot world. There is a small Easter Egg in the scrambled picture on the TV. Hint, it’s a QR code that you have to hella zoom in on. You’re welcome.
Thanksgiving was awesome, I went in not knowing what to expect and it was far better than I anticipated. It was a throwback to the 80's, the k*lls were inventive and fun, it was also very cool to see Patrick mixing things up a bit in taking this role, he was great, cheers.
Was slightly disappointed in the list……. ONLY BECAUSE ive already seen every movie on the list. However id like to throw out Cole Hausers best movie in my opinion Paparazzi. You seen it Kainan? Not a horror flick but super entertaining
Lol I live in Plymouth and let me tell you I wish Thanksgiving here was that exciting. There's pretty much nothing to do here and it's overflowing with annoying tourists during the summer
Amen to Mike Flanagan movies. One of my favorite horror movies of all time is Oculus, and I was surprised to learn that an underappreciated/unknown movie, Absentia, was also directed by him.
I looked for Thanksgiving on netflicks and Tubi and couldn't find but this was a few weeks ago. I'll look again I F'N LOVED SPIDERHEAD I've seen it 3 Xs The Cave Really fun! Your Right On ! It's adventure ,thriller,Sci-Fy,Horror it is over the top at times but in theory it could happen for real. We discover tons of new species every year 4** I'm so glad I hung in with "The Rental" I've passed on Geralds Game several times but I'm goin' there tonight THANX TO YOU !!
I am so excited that Thanksgiving is now streaming on Netflix. My husband and I go to the Plymouth Thanksgiving parade that they have every year. I don't understand how Guy Pearce had fallen off everyone's radar.
We used to go to the drive in for two dollars a car plus you got tickets for free drinks and popcorn. That is where in my life I watched most of my horror double features. I really miss that.
I've seen every film on this list and every single movie us awesome but by just a hair in the lead my favorite was spiderhead
Coming home in the Dark was excellent. Very dark and disturbing.
Love love love Don’t worry darling !!! It was sooo good it stuck with me for a while after !!!!
Loved the seventh day as well!!
Gerald’s game was great acting !!

Keeping the movie year and name onscreen makes ALL the difference. I’ve asked similar creators to do the same.
"Don't worry Darling" was very good IMO. It seemed to be poorly marketed and the actor drama didn't help, but I would recommend.
Coming home in the dark was one ofnthe best films Ive seen but like Hunter Hunter it was a one time view.

Another banger list! Have you ever covered starry eyes? It’s a good one
Awesome list love it
I hope The Cave isnt isnt a ripoff of The Descent
Awesome list
I loved “Leave the World Behind” it was so strange. I love how they didn’t try to explain everything.
Netflix has been the axed service in our house. I NEED "Nobody Sleeps In The Woods Tonight Part 1&2" to be released physically already!
Dang! If I knew Thanksgiving was coming to Netflix, I wouldn’t have paid for the rental.
Ooh! I haven’t seen Spiderhead. This is why I subscribed to you.
New to the channel and love the content. Never seen anyone use their hands so much to talk, but I’m here for it ?
Thank you ! ?? I despise Christianity and too watch a movie and have that crap in the movie , is just too much . ????
You see, if you tell me a movie is disturbing, it only makes me want to watch it more
Don’t Worry Darling kinda reminds me of the Stepford Wives. At least based on the trailer. I’ll check it out but only because you recommended it.
Did you see the movie “The Beach House”?
???
I have been watching a lot of Netflix lately. The silence, shimmering lake, malevolent, and reptile are some pretty good ones that I saw
Great list. Just do steel yourself if you want to watch Coming Home in the Dark. It's dark.

Lol were you a singer in a band in the Sacramento area?
The cave is one of my all time favorite movies, I watch it every year sometimes even more than once.
Did you just call Thanksgiving “the infamous holiday”?? Haha.
Amen to Mike Flanagan movies. One of my favorite horror movies of all time is Oculus, and I was surprised to learn that an underappreciated/unknown movie, Absentia, was also directed by him.
I’ll try to check out some of these films because I subscribe to ads on Netflix some of the stuff is locked now.
Gerald’s Game was really good love Mike Flanagan films.

Like always this is a very helpful list! Now I can plan out the rest of my week & weekend! Thank you!
