I've watched the first 2 episodes and this is good, but it is not supposed to be the same – like two different people telling a story of history and both do a good job but not the same job. So far I like both but I think the animation one is still best – but both are really worth watching.
The animated is more important to watch first probably too season 2 before continuing the live action because they are going to merge episodes but yes definitely finish the live action but make sure to watch the animated first
