This was an interesting movie! Very different feeling than the first 3 films… ? EARLY ACEESS and FULL LENGH REACTIONS to Terminator 5 and 6 on our Patreon!
Initially, the film had a completely different third act. Because this Skynet warned itself about time travel, it managed to play a different game. The plan of this Skynet was ultimately to cybernize humanity so that they could reach a new stage of evolution. Marcus wasn't the only hybrid, he was the first. That's why the labs look so human, they didn't change the locations during the reshoots. Kyle was dying, as was John, who realized that he had not been prepared for this version of the war (this is a continuation of T3), which means that the future is really not written, but John Connor is a symbol and must live, so Marcus had John's face transplanted. Unfortunately, part of the plot leaked online and the authors decided to reshoot the third act, killing in fact the semantic load of the film. He was also supposed to have sequels, but a weak box office killed his sequels.
The sad thing about this movie is that it was such a huge opportunity wasted. By diving into the war after Judgment Day, everything was on the table to open up an entirely new phase of storytelling in the Terminator universe, but they flubbed it completely. The tone was wrong, the action was flashy but ultimately not much more than cheap thrills, the random terminator animals seemed like an intriguing idea at first but in the end they were just goofy, the resistance members (especially the leaders) were weirdly over-militaristic stereotypes, acting like utterly humourless adrenalin junkies the whole time as opposed to sympathetic impassioned leaders of humanity's last ditch struggle to survive. In fact the whole film just comes across as weirdly macho with roid bro energy all over the place for no reason.
I disliked this film a lot, but I think I disliked the missed opportunity it represents even more. If they'd have been able to pull off a convincing resistance war story here, one that still felt connected to T1 and T2 not just in tone but in substance, then they might have just unlocked a way forwards for the franchise to do something else instead of always resorting back to the "future robot and future soldier fight to stop a thing from happening" mold they ended up going back to over and over again.
The movie that bombed and killed the franchise to the point where part 5 made no money. They rebooted again with 6 (5 and 6 are awsome but not connected) and it bombed HUGE. terminator is forever dead unfortunately.
the irony is that the Schwarzenegger´s character has ruined the perspective idea of this film itself. it was all really about the Terminator (Arnie) alone not the rise of the machines and doomsday.
Lethal injection is….supposed…to be humane and painless so they use several surgical anesthetics and paralytics before the potassium chloride stops your heart. Like all chlorine products it burns and stings when in contact with exposed soft tissue or blood hence the paralytics.
Salvation gets a bit of bad rap, but I thought after Judgement Day in T3, it was the prefect idea for a fourth film. Arnie didn't star in this film because he was busy being 'Governator' of California.
Terminator Genisys retconns a lot of the Terminator lore and isn't very good. IMHO, you're better off skipping it altogether.

Whats up with the middle dude not saying anything for like last 15 minutes of the movie??? Just stayed there motionless ???????
Couldn't Watch this yesterday no spliff's 🙁 Now it's time ?❤??
You guys would probably love Helldivers 2 Automaton missions, it’s very Terminator and y’all can play on a team.
I really love this one. Most people hate it though. I love the darker more gritty tone and the music by Danny Elfman is spot on.

In my opinion, this one is my least favourite out of the franchise, not the same without Arnold Schwarzenegger

T-600 attacked John near the beginning.
Dudes…. Arnold was too busy being Governor of California, hence he couldn't be cast in this one…. But in true Arnie style….. " I'll be Back ! "
Awwww sh1t… I'd forgotten ? R.I.P Anton Yelchin
Skynet infiltrated Cojo's camera. And Blake's look during the edit is hysterical.
Hi guys will you ever react to The Expanse?
Awesome , Greetings from Finland
T1 was horror. T2 action. T3 bad parody. T4 war movie.
In a real world scenario where this happens it makes sense that the military would lead the fight against Skynet they would not trust a civilian
It’s been 14 years since Terminator 3
Terminator 1 & 2 are the only movies that are great out of this series. They should've ended it with the sequel imo

this movie had to have the ending changed last minute, because the original ending was leaked. originally Connor dies at the end of this film.
