Thank you!!! Someone was able to articulate what was wrong with this live action….. they are changing the characters and I'm not for it. Don't touch my avatar !
I feel sorry for anyone trying to take on the roles of the characters from the original ATLA. The fans LOVE these characters as portrayed un the animated series I really don't see any circumstance where fans will be satisfied with live action portrayals un less they are perfect. What are we doing anyway? Why do they keep repeating the same story from the series? It was lightening in a bottle! Please focus on the animated series and movies. Explore this world the way we were introduced to it. Once we have seen this universe enough and canonized its lore and history then MAYBE some day in the future you could introduce a brand new Avatar, or at least one that hasn't been used as a main in the animated series, and give them an original story with original characters. That way the live action actors can make the characters their own without having to do some kind of impersonation of a cartoon. Get it together Avatar creators.
I think they're doing pretty well with the show, and I hope they do the other 2 books for Aangs journey. Don't be so overly critical. She humbled him a few times, and he could see how skillful her and the others were, and that humbled him a lot too. So much so that he was watching and trying to copy them during practice, and she noticed and seen he was humbled and wanted to learn. It's not exactly the same, there's a few more things they changed, and I'm not super happy about it, but overall, they are doing it pretty well, in my opinion.
Personally I like the original best, the live action MOVIE was obviously trash, the series on the other hand did way better, there were things they could've def done better at, such as katara and paku's fight, meeting bumi (flopsy was taken out), and more comedic bits because that makes the dynamic better, BUTTTT i liked they went further into depth of the previous avatars, such as Kyoshi and Kuruk, it was nice to see them show more about Kuruk because we saw him in the original only 2 or 3 times whilst kyoshi was seen almost as much as roku. I want to see more about previous but I want to know who came after korra
Sokka suits him. He has a high-pitched voice. Also, it looks like a warrior. He has some line joke. Tho expression is lacking yet understandable. It's an anime adaptation.
It’s not bad as people are making it out to be, it’s actually an enjoyable watch and the things they changed im actually for it because we get to see the same thing in a different light which is refreshing like seeing Kyoshi go off instead of avatar Roku. I understand the importance of the growth of these characters but it’s just not as strong, it’s still there.

I couldn’t watch after the first episode. Shit isn’t goad at all.

Oh god everyone always has some complaint. Swear that’s all anyone ever does anymore
Still not as bad as the love action movie
Thisssssssssssssss ?
No the live action movie ruined sokka
It baffles me that yall took something that's resolved in the first 4 episodes and treat it like the crux of his character, it's ridiculous.
Just say you can't handle change and go rewatch the og show again damn

True!!!!!
Ruined…
Disagree it a fun and decent show.
I literally watched this series and sokka seemed like the only well written character out of the whole cast
