The only thing i don't like about the show now is iroh, the actor playing iroh seems so rush to finish his lines and he makes iroh feel so serious unlike in the anime iroh is much more calm when he talks.
Before you become a critic, you need to learn the basics. There is a huge difference between show made for kids and show made for kids and adult.
We like the animated series because we grew up watching it and that will not be the case for everyone. The Netflix show targets new audience aswell which all you "disappointing plot changes" critics fail to understand. I know they made way more changes then they should have, but netflix never claimed they will make the same story into live action to begain with. So as soon as you hit play button you should already expect it will be nothing like the animated series.
It’s pretty good sure I don’t like it 100 but I give it a 80/100 and they can’t put everything in 8 episodes if they want to push for further season. Just live with it
I just wish Iroh would talk about tea more and they barely teased White Lotus I feel. Showrunners are so scared to do things like have Zuko and Iroh just sitting on the deck of the ship playing a game of Pai Sho. They are so quick to tell the plot they forget about the characters. In the cartoon I loved Iroh and Zuko's relationship even in season 1. I just knew they would end up on the right side eventually and watching Iroh steer Zuko, a hurt and confused young man, down his true path was close to my favorite part of the show.
definetly a disappointing show, idk why they didn't just do it panel for panel. Old avatar is a classic fr
We need a podcast episode on this
This guy uses only 2 words to describe stuff 'peak' Or 'mid' ?
The only disappointment is this video of you ranting for 12 minutes
The amount of "disappointing" youtube channels that end up in my feed is pathetic.
im totally agree this show needs more comedy, sokka is way to serious
I can tell you gonna be big on YouTube one day keep working hard
ayo we got NATLA defenders? Bumi was the last straw for me

Just praying that S2 slows down the pace for the show, that and the Toph actress has to be amazing.
It was a 7/10
