Republicans want you to focus on asylum seekers so the Texas business community, amongst others, can continue to enjoy the services of approximately 1.1 million undocumented migrant workers to pad their profits and fill their labor needs. Perhaps removing the incentive for businesses to skirt the law by making it harder for undocumented migrant workers to find employment by handing out heavy fines to employers who hire undocumented migrant workers should be the plan!

I spent 6 months traveling through Mexico and Guatemala in a VW bus. I’ll have to admit that I was prepared for things to go wrong, and that the trip could end at any time, and maybe not in a pleasant way.
I can safely say, it was an amazing experience, even if there were a few hiccups here and there,

The Usa has a population-density of 37 per square kilometer. That's not very high – in fact, it'S quite low for a country of that size. So there's quite much spare room compared to european countries. So why is it not sustainable? Cause of the costs? WEll, maybe there would be money for housing, infrastructure and employment-programs, if there wasn't this believe in trickle-down-economics and hoping that by feeding the rich the poor will get some leftovers.
Or is it just some mongering fear that those immigrants will do to the exact same thing to the current "native" population what those "natives" ancestors did to the original?
No serious person can say there aren’t to many immigrants. Resources should go to those who have been here generations & are still struggling not hotels
