I love the Friday the 13th(2009) movie reboot. I didn’t understand why they didn’t do a sequel to it.
I don’t mind Scream 7 having a brand new cast. As long it’s nothing like Scream 6.
Scream 7 will make a lot more money with Melissa Barrera than without her. For a company that seems to be wanting the biggest profit by penny pinching Neve, this rumor seems to counter that. If a movie with Sam makes 170-200 million or a reboot makes about 100 million then technically it is a profitable movie. However that doesn’t change the fact that one profit will still cost Spyglass tens of millions over the other profit.
Please don’t give blumhouse Friday the 13th. They have too many and ruin them most of the time

scream 7 having a different cast is a big no for me, especially if they're going to call it scream 7. The franchise has consistently been connected this whole time and for them to just drop that because spyglass screwed up would upset me. It would be jarring as well to do yet another reboot this soon when scream 5 already commented on that.
Getting Neve back for one more story is the only logical and satisfying decision imo. She said she wants to do more and she has been very absent from the new trilogy. Besides, i think 7 should be the last movie anyways. I mean how many can you do this soon?
