Honestly the trailer sorta smothered most of the embers of hope I had left for the film.
I now only hope that this will be a "so bad it's good" film.
Or at the very least a wake-up call to whoever's in charge of the Borderlands IP that storywriting actually matters.
Look at Borderlands 3 and Tales from the Borderlands "2"

I wish Brick and Mordecai were in it. That's all.
I mean that was pretty obviously Tiny and Krieg, which is an odd choice to add to the original crew, and all of them except Claptrap seemed very off. Low expectations and probably won't watch it.

Let me guess, it's going to get the Halo treatment. The characters are technically there, but the actual lore is going to be ignored

Kate is a really good actor. But I believe she aged out of this role already. I think they should have gave it to a younger actor.
I could have tolerated the rest. But not Hart as Roland, even with 3 foot platforms on he couldn't be Roland
Yeah casting oof as well as the bit of writing and character direction we can see cus all im saying was tannis was NEVER combat focused she was loony and smart never supposed to be badass until way later
The casting in this movie is a sin. This is especially true when you look up how David eddings got absolutely screwed for his role as claptrap. I could have forgiven the rest if you let him voice the titular robot in the movie… But instead we get Jack Black.
My god, no one asked for this. I wish they didn't. It's Mario all over again.
