If you wanna watch bad animation, go watch Hoodwinked or Initial D first stage because those have compelling stories, a great cast of characters and have a lot of soul despite the cg animation being arguably bad.
The only reason why megamind 2 is bad is because all the good people are working on better movies (kung fu panda 4, despicable me 4) so we are left with the worse people and peacock.
I remember geniunely loving this movie when I was a kid and it being one of my favourites. So the fact that they made a crappy sequel actually kinda upsets me 🙁
