No one works harder than you
The X-Force drop-in sequence was the hardest I've laughed in a cinema for years.
She watched Deadpool and Deadpool 2 before any other X men movie? TF. No wonder she didn't understand any of the references
Wasn’t there an Irish superhero named Shamrock that basically had the “luck “ power ?
So, he didn’t save Wolverine. In the movie Wolverine Origins Ryan Reynolds plays a character named Deadpool that was objectively poorly written and nothing like the comic character. So he killed it. Wolverine died in a movie called Logan, which you should watch.
Hes smells like Earl Gray Tea
You haven’t seen the Wolverine trilogy so the post credit scene with Hugh didn’t make sense to you. So now you need to go watch those.
The Barbra Streisand movie was Yentl
so good
Personally I prefer the theatrical release over the extended cut, some better adlib jokes and musical cues. There's also a PG cut, if nobody's mentioned it.
Don’t get me wrong this movie is good, but it really should have been titled women in refrigerators the movie. If you don’t know what women in refrigerators means, it means that a woman the male character knows has to be hurt or worse just so the male character can get from point A to point B in a story. That’s a very simplified definition but it’s true. No, I don’t think the people who made the movie did it on purpose, it’s something deadpool would have made fun of if they did.
once upon a deadpool and super duper cut
FUN FACT: Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift are actually good friends.
13:06 I just love that he pulls an Uno reverse card on her automatically assuming he's intolerant, making HER the one spreading "Fox and Friends" style hate. ?
I've got such a huge crush on Zazie ?
–19:06 Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk
–21:23 Marvels Captain America: The Winter Soldier (MCU)
–26:41 Yes, they are all canon….. Except Peter… All X-Force.

–30:34 'The Goonies" reference
–31:25 Juggernaut is Professor X's step-brother
–35:15 In the comics his skin turns to metal, he can change back to human skin. Also his insides don't change, stays viscous.
–44:48 No, he doesn't save Wolverine from dying. That reference wasn't from this movie, that would be from the movie "Logan". This is in reference to when FOX FIRST brought Deadpool into the movies and SCREWED it up, which made Ryan Reynolds create the Deadpool movies you watched, more closer to the comic book canon.
The end credits are what ties the FOX Deadpool movies to the MCU Deadpool. If you haven't seen the Loki tv show, you need to see both seasons to understand the premise…
No, Deadpool did not save Logan. The scene in the end credits was from "Wolverine Origins". He shot Wade Wilson.
You missed the last end credits scene with Hitler.
You missed a whole bunch of references by not watching the X-Men and Wolverine movies. ??
21:15 This is why we have to consume all culture in the order it was released.
46:16 Exactly!
No he doesn't save wolverine from dying but yes you should watch the xmen movies now to understand what happened.
2:27 – SPOILERS!!! You need to watch Logan. It's widely regarded as the best X-Men movie.
8:40 – Not quite how that works,
13:35 – Dark Phoenix was filming at the same time as this movie, so they had the cast film this shot on their set and then they composited it in.
27:57 – Yes.
29:02 – Domino's mutant power is a powerful subconscious psychic awareness of everything that's going on in the world around her. It allows her to instinctually position herself to take full advantage of the mechanism of day-to-day life. Think of it like Chaos Theory, but you DO know every variable.
30:03 – LITERALLY the Marvel hero Longshot.
35:13 – We never see it in the Deadpool movies, but Colossus can readily change back and forth between his human and metal form.
35:26 – Incidentally, Juggernaut IS Ryan Reynold's favorite Marvel villain and he took the opportunity to voice him here.
36:09 – Note the setting on Cable's gun.
44:33 – So I'm guessing you never saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Long story short, that was Ryan Reynold's first appearance as Deadpool, but that version was so horribly mangled by the writing that the character was unrecognizable. Here, Wade came back and killed that horrible earlier version of himself. This scene is Good Deadpool being composited into a scene from Origins.
Love the people getting pissy in the comments because she didn't catch EVERY. SINGLE. REFERENCE. She laughed her ass off at the entire movie, and I can pretty much guarantee will watch it again and seek out some of the movies referenced because of this movie, while y'all sit in your feelings about people enjoying things without your approval.
On topic, Shanelle, I am so delighted you went on to this one fairly quickly as – besides being entirely sure that you would have a ball watching it – the callbacks really are fantastic. I LOVED the cocaine/cure for blindness callback!
I almost think you can watch Logan without watching all of the other X-Men movies. Like, they do add some context, and it helps if you already have a connection to Jackman's Wolverine and Patrick Stewart's Xavier. But I do think it's a great movie on it's own.
I've watched this movie so many times. I had no idea that was matt damon, but after this i went back and now his voice is so recognizable, i cant unhear him. that's awesome
Julien Dennison, who plays Russell, got his start in a Taika Waititi film, Hunt For The Wilderpeople. He stars alongside Sam Neil, and it's amazing.
you hadn´t watched the old wolverine movies, so you didn´t get the scene when deadpool kills the old deadpool in front of wolverine ^^
but you got the tailor swift cat shirt reference, which i missed 😀
most people seem to like the first deadpool better. i love the first deadpool but for me, the 2nd one is even better! 🙂
Who knew that when Vanessa said, "Your heart is not in the right place," she meant the actual internal organ and that "the right place" was in between a troubled teen and a bullet?
The thanos joke was the best
18:15 Love this Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk cameo.
Josh Brolin credits the success of the 2007 film "American Gangster," saying it saved his life when he was broke. He co-stars alongside Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.
to accompany this movie you should really watch the Ashes music video by Celine Dion, TRUST ME.
You should alternate between the marvel MCU movies and the fox X-Men movies so you can get familiar with both simultaneously
Brad Pitt was paid a single cup of coffee for his role in this. You'll find out later in reactions that Ryan will also be paid a single cup of coffee for another movie by this director.
This is the 2nd best use of the song Take On Me in recent media. The best was actually in a potentially skipable scene in The Last Of us Part 2 game.
You missed a few jokes in here for not having seen all the X-men movies which isn’t a major problem but the I don’t think you can get away with it for 3 in fact you need to see all the X-men and the MCU otherwise I don’t think the plot will make any sense from what we have seen of the trailers you don’t have to react to everything but you do need to see
Spoiler Cable is actually Nathan Summers aka the child of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor (who is a clone of Jean Grey). The reason he has the look he does is that he was infected with a techno-organic virus and was sent to the future to be cured.
Not all mutants are x-men right?
He didn't save Wolverine at the end, he was getting rid of the very bad Deadpool that he played in X-Mex Origins: Wolverine.
Before this movie came out, one of the advertising points was that Brad Pitt is in the movie.
I loved the Goonies reference since Josh Brolin was in the movie.
watch logan it’s such a good movie, you won’t regret itt
50:59 The ripping in half scene looked fake because Ryan Reynolds refused to be ripped in half for real. “It would have caused unnecessary delays in production while they recasted”, he explained.
